Gift Experience Scotland is a fast growing E-commerce business with a drive to grow its online presence. With a focus on technological development in its existing websites and projects, the company is seeking a full time technical resource to join its Edinburgh-based team.
Gift Experience Scotland is one of the countries’ leading gift voucher businesses. Established in 2004, the company has developed a successful relationship with hundreds of experience tourism businesses in Scotland for whom it acts as an agent for the sale of gift vouchers. Recent expansion includes a South African and English business based on the same business model and values as the Scottish business.
The company relies heavily on IT resource to constantly develop and grow the website and systems, with a focus on automation and processes and has a passion to drive this forward.
Our technical developer will play an integral part of the day to day running of the companies online systems as well as a strategic view on web development.
- Technical support
Providing and organic website technical support role to the product development and customer support teams to resolve technical problems and implement BAU change to the website.
- Technical development
To develop websites and technology to meet the companies requirements for business growth in the UK and overseas.
As an integral part of the business, the ideal candidate will have a passion for IT and E-commerce development and take pleasure in problem solving and seeking clear and practical solutions to the businesses E-commerce needs.
They will have at least three years experience working within a commercial environment delivering online IT solutions. They will be bright, flexible and can operate well in a team environment. They will be able to work to tight deadlines and manage their workload effectively.
This person will report directly to the company owner. This person will not be involved in content creation.
